Frame Bushing Replacement for Cadillac Catera 1998

Tools Required

1. Remove the rear axle cradle. Refer to Crossmember Replacement
2. Remove the protective boot from the top of the support bushing. The boot will lever out by hand.



3. Use the legs of the J 24319-B
4. It may be necessary to place a shim in the center of the bushing to keep the J 24319-B
5. Press out the bushing.
6. Remove the rear axle support bushing.

1. Use the J 42090
2. Install the protective boot to the top of the support bushing.
3. Install the rear axle cradle. Refer to Crossmember Replacement
4. Adjust the rear toe to specifications. Refer to Rear Toe Adjustment in Wheel Alignment.
