Oil Pump Suction Pipe and Screen Assembly Installation for Cadillac DTS 2009

  1. Lubricate the silicone seal in the oil manifold plate. With a twisting motion, install the end of the oil pump pick-up tube (2).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the oil pump pick-up retaining bolt (1) and nut (3).
    3. 2.1. Tighten the oil pump pick-up tube nut to 24 N·m (18 lb ft).
    2.2. Tighten the oil pump pick-up tube bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
