  1. Connect a scan tool to the data link connector (DLC).
  2. Disconnect the coolant level switch.
  3. Ensure that the ignition switch is in RUN.
  4. View the IPC coolant level switch Data List parameter.

Is the coolant switch input OFF?

Repair the short in CKT 1478 (LT GRN). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
