Data Link Connector Replacement for Cadillac STS 2005

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the knee bolster trim. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.

    2. Object Number: 1386648 Size: SH
  2. Remove the screws (1) securing the data link connector to the instrument panel (I/P).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1386648 Size: SH
  1. Locate the connector to the I/P.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the screws (1) securing the connector to the I/P.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws (1) to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the knee bolster trim. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
