Engine Oil Level Sensor and/or Switch Replacement for Cadillac STS 2009

1. Drain the engine oil. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from engine oil level switch.
3. Remove the engine oil level switch from the oil pan.

1. Install the engine oil level switch to the oil pan.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install the engine oil level switch bolt and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
3. Connect the electrical connector to engine oil level switch.
4. Fill the engine oil. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement.
5. Inspect for oil leaks after engine start up.
