Air Cleaner Element Replacement for Cadillac STS 2009

1. Remove the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement.
2. Loosen the air cleaner cover screws.



3. Open the air cleaner cover and remove the air cleaner element.

1. Install the air cleaner element and close the air cleaner cover.
2. Ensure the air cleaner assembly cover tabs are properly aligned to the air cleaner housing.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

3. Install the air cleaner cover screws and tighten to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
4. Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement.
