Removal Procedure
Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution in the Preface section.
Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in the Preface section.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
- Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to
Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement.
- Remove the rear bumper fascia guide rail. Refer to
Rear Bumper Fascia Outer Support Replacement.
Important: The rear bumper fascia lower support retaining
rivets are single use parts. They must be discarded after removal.
- Drill out the rear bumper fascia guide rail retaining rivets (2).
Discard the rivets.
- Remove the rear bumper fascia guide rail (1) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Position the rear bumper fascia guide rail (1) to the vehicle.
- Install NEW rear bumper fascia guide rail retaining
rivets (2)
- Install the rear bumper fascia guide rail. Refer to
Rear Bumper Fascia Outer Support Replacement.
- Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to
Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement.
- Lower the vehicle.

Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to

- Remove the rear quarter end cap. Refer to
Tail Lamp Mount Panel Replacement.
- Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to
Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement.
- Remove the rear bumper fascia outer support. Refer to
Rear Bumper Fascia Outer Support Replacement.
Important: The rear bumper fascia lower support retaining
rivets are single use parts. They must be discarded after removal.
- Drill out the rear bumper fascia guide rail retaining rivets (2).
Discard the rivets.
- Remove the rear bumper fascia guide rail (1) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Secure the rear bumper fascia lower support (1)
in a suitable position.
- Remove 60 mm length and 5.0 mm depth
of the indicated bracket material (1) using a suitable tool.
- Remove all burrs from the cut edge with a suitable tool.
- Position the rear bumper fascia guide rail to the vehicle.
- Install NEW rear bumper fascia guide rail retaining
rivets (2).
- Install the rear bumper fascia outer support. Refer to
Rear Bumper Fascia Outer Support Replacement.
- Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to
Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement.
- Install the rear quarter end cap. Refer to
Tail Lamp Mount Panel Replacement.
- Lower the vehicle.

- Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to
Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement.
Important: The rear bumper fascia support to quarter
panel retaining rivet (1) is a single use part and must be discarded after
removal.
- Drill out and remove the rear bumper fascia support to quarter panel retaining
rivet (1).
Discard the rivet.
Important: The rear bumper fascia bracket to quarter
panel retaining rivets (3) are single use parts and must be discarded after
removal.
- Drill out and remove the rear bumper fascia bracket to quarter panel retaining
rivets (3).
Discard the rivets.
- Remove the rear bumper fascia bracket (2) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Position a NEW rear bumper fascia bracket (2)
to the vehicle by sliding under the rear bumper fascia support.
- Install NEW rear bumper fascia bracket to quarter panel retaining rivets (3).
- Install a NEW rear bumper fascia support to quarter panel retaining rivet (1).
- Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to
Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement.
- Lower the vehicle.
