Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement for Chevrolet Corvette 2009

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the tire and wheel assemblies. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.



3. Using a back-up wrench to prevent the link stud from rotating, remove the stabilizer shaft link nuts from the lower control arms.
4. Using a back-up wrench to prevent the link stud from rotating, remove the stabilizer shaft link nuts and links from the shaft.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




1. Using a back-up wrench to prevent the link stud from rotating, install the stabilizer shaft links and link nuts and tighten to 60 N·m (44 lb ft) plus 30 degrees.
2. Install the tire and wheel assemblies. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
3. Lower the vehicle.
