Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement for Chevrolet Silverado - 2WD 2008

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 1334909 Size: SH
  1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement.
  2. Remove the drive belt tensioner bolt.
  3. Remove the drive belt tensioner.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1334909 Size: SH
  1. Install the drive belt tensioner. Align the pin with the hole in the generator bracket.
  2. Install the drive belt tensioner bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten bolt to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  3. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement.
