Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement for Chevrolet Spark 2008

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
3. Remove the front wiring harness retaining clip from the impact bar.



4. Remove the impact bar bolts (1).
5. Remove the impact bar (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




1. Install the impact bar (2) with the bolts (1).

Tighten
Tighten the impact bar bolts to 27 N·m (20 ft lb).




2. Install the front wiring harness retaining clip to the impact bar.
3. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
