DTC C0297 Powertrain Configuration Data Not Received for GMC Truck Yukon - 2WD 2000
Circuit Description
The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) sends the engine/axle/tire Ids to the EBCM via class 2 serial data communications immediately after the modules are powered up.
Conditions for Running the DTC
The ignition is ON.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
The powertrain configuration data is not received by the EBCM.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
| • | The TRACTION OFF indicator is commanded on. |
| • | The Traction Control is disabled for the remainder of the ignition cycle. |
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
| • | Repair the condition(s) responsible for setting the DTC. |
| • | Use a scan tool in order to clear the DTC. |
