Inside Air Temperature Sensor Replacement for Oldsmobile Intrigue 1998

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Cautions and Notices.
2. Remove the instrument cluster trim panel. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel and Console.



3. Disconnect the aspirator duct (1) and position aside.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) to the inside air temperature sensor.
5. Remove the inside air temperature sensor (3).

Important:  Ensure the air temperature sensor is sealed to the Steering column filler trim panel in order prevent sampling the air behind the dash.

1. Install the inside air temperature sensor (3).
2. Connect the electrical connector (2) for the inside air temperature sensor.
3. Connect the aspirator duct (1) to the inside air temperature sensor.
4. Install the instrument cluster trim panel. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical
