Knee Bolster Replacement for Pontiac Firebird 1999

1. Remove the rear compartment lid release switch, if equipped. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Switch Replacement in Body Rear End.



2. Remove the I/P knee bolster bolts (3).
3. Remove the I/P driver knee bolster (2).

1. Install the I/P driver knee bolster (2).
2. Install the I/P knee bolster bolts (3).

Tighten
Tighten the I/P knee bolster bolts (3) to 1.9 N·m (17 lb in).




3. Install the rear compartment lid release switch, if equipped. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Switch Replacement in Body Rear End.
