Power Sliding Door (PSD) Inoperative for Pontiac Montana Ext. 1999

Cause

Action

The power sliding door does not operate electrically.

  1. One of the following conditions is causing battery voltage interruption:
  2. • The vehicle battery was disconencted and reconnected.
    • The vehicle battery was discharged and recharged.
    • The RADIO fuse (located in the underhood accessory wiring junction block) was removed and then replaced.
  3. The PSD Diagnostic Mode is entered and is currently active.
  4. The B/U LAMP fuse may be open. With this fuse open the module never sees a park input causing the door to be inoperative.

Re-initialize the PSD system. Refer to Power Sliding Door (PSD) Re-Initialization .

The open/close button on one of the following components does not activate the PSD:

    • The overhead console
    • The B-pillar
    • The keyless entry transmitter

There is a malfunction in CKT 1894.
