Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Solenoid Valve Replacement for Pontiac Torrent 2009

1. Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister from the vehicle. Refer to Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement .



2. Rotate the EVAP canister vent valve counterclockwise to release from the locked position.



3. Remove the vent valve from the EVAP canister.

1. Insert the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve into the EVAP canister, with the valve aligned to the released position.



2. Rotate vent valve clockwise to secure into the locked position.
3. Install the EVAP canister to the vehicle. Refer to Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement .
