Powertrain Control Module Replacement for Saturn VUE - AWD 2004

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness.
3. Depress the retaining tab and remove the powertrain control module (PCM).
4. Remove the PCM from the housing.

1. Install the PCM into the housing bracket.
2. Connect the wiring harness.
3. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
4. Program the PCM. Refer to Service Programming System (SPS) in Programming.
5. Perform the Idle Learn procedure. Refer to Idle Learn .
