Circuit/System Description

The body control module (BCM) generates the audible warning. The BCM receives audible warning requests via serial data.

Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, key in the ignition, open the driver door. The courtesy lamps should illuminate
  2. ⇒If the courtesy lamps do not illuminate, go to Courtesy Lamps Inoperative .
  3. If all circuits test normal, replace the BCM.
